When planning a hen or a stag do, where you stay is super important! Do you want to all have your own separate hotel rooms? Do you want to recreate your youth and have everyone in one big massive apartment like a slumber party? Is luxury the only way? Well, let us tell you this, Liverpool has everything that you could possibly think of that you might want for a brilliant weekend. You won’t be disappointed with the potential choices!
Now, we know Liverpool like the back of our hands. And I know how extensive the list of different types of accommodation is! There are all different ones to suit all different budgets. Going to bed shouldn’t be boring, and Liverpool makes sure that that DOES NOT happen!!
Different Types of Accommodation in Liverpool
You can camp and caravan outside of Liverpool city centre if getting back to nature is what you’re after. There are different styles and levels of roughing it from actual camp sites where pitching a tent in one the cards or there are the super fancy glamping pods, some of which have hot tubs for those who want to camp in style. These don’t come as cheap as you might think though.
Then, moving things up a notch, away from the outdoor elements, we have hostels. Hostels have a stigma around them for being gross and lack privacy but if you’re a big group, then what’s the issue of sharing and having bunk beds? Throw back to being 7 and messing about till the wee hours. The nostalgia is next level! Hostels are keeping up with ever changing trends and have made some seriously attractive dorms with modern and clean bathrooms. They’re calling them “poshtels” so don’t write them off just yet!
Taking things up again to private rooms, we have bed and breakfasts. Your own private room with ensuite bathroom which includes breakfast. There are varying stars for bed and breakfasts in Liverpool but I’m sure we can find something to suit you if this is what your after. They tend not to be in the city centre though so consider the cost of getting around in taxis.
Serviced apartments are super popular for both stag and hen weekends. They are usually finished to a high standard and most are aimed at large groups. They can accommodate pretty much every party however they do get booked up quite quickly. There are plenty of these in Liverpool since its become such a hub for hen and stag parties!
Self-catering houses are a great way to have full reign on your weekend and be together as a group. You will have to do all of your own cooking and cleaning up though. But you can get some spectacular deals and some houses have swimming pools but these tend not to be that close to Liverpool city centre.

Medium Priced Options
Aachen hotel is a 3* hotel in the city centre. The location is spot on and cannot be sniffed at. The breakfast is decent too, if you manage to get to it in the morning!
Jurys Inn is a great staple hotel. The rooms are nice and clean and you know what you’re getting with this. With a fabulous location on the Albert Dock Jury’s Inn is a strong competitor for one of the top 4* hotels in Liverpool.
Novotel, again another good competitor for a nice, clean and modern hotel that won’t break the bank.
Serviced apartments are a great way to go if there’s a lot of you. You can share the cost and it can actually work out cheaper than a hotel. The apartments are usually always done up to a high spec too, so you have that element of luxury along with it. Dream Apartments have some super pocket friendly studio apartments.
I’m pretty certain that everyone loves a Hilton Hotel and to be honest, the bride or groom-to-be would be pretty chuffed to be staying here. The Liverpool Hilton is in a brilliant location and is easy to find! Useful after having a few scoops! There’s a posh nightclub downstairs as well so you don’t even need to leave the place if you don’t want to!
Seel Street Hotel by Epic is literally Epic. They have out of this world rooms and couldn’t be any closer to Liverpool’s nightlife. It’s next level stuff this place!
