We know how much you love our handy guides since you keep coming back for more! So, we thought we might as well go into restaurants too. We’ll chat to you about different styles and price ranges that Liverpool has to offer you guys. Obviously, you’re going to be eating whilst on your hen or stag party in Liverpool, so we’ve come up with some places that have a great record for good food and brilliant customer service. This is our Ultimate Stag And Hen Guide To Liverpool Restaurants.

First up are the more relaxed places to eat. You don’t have to be dressed up to the nines or suited and booted to go to these places. But the food is good, and you will enjoy a decent cocktail list which I know is extremely important to the ladies!

Yard And Coop

First up is Yard and Coop. I have tried all of these places myself by the way, so they are officially Mersey Games approved. The chicken in this place, is next level. It’s seriously yum. It melts in the mouth with a gorgeous buttermilk fried coating. There are loads of different ways to have it cooked and honestly, they’re all good. Then, there’s the sides. So many sides. There are loads to choose from! Your mouth will be filling with saliva just reading them! We highly recommend the food here.

Free State kitchen

If a burger is more what your party is after, then look no further! Free State Kitchen will sort out your burger needs with one of the best burger bars in Liverpool. You can see into the kitchen and watch the chefs making their delicious meaty creations! There’s even outdoor space to really enjoy your burger in on a sunny stag or hen do weekend!

Leaf On Bold street

If you and your stag or hen party are all about a full English breakfast or if your accommodation doesn’t have breakfast included, Leaf on the busy Bold Street is exactly what you need! Serving breakfast from 9am until 3pm, we’re pretty sure this place will sort your hangover right out! Leaf On Bold St would be considered one of the more popular Resturants on the famous bold street, and is hugely popular with the locals and visiting students to the city.

Jam Resturant

Jam-resturant-bannerSlightly more upmarket and more aimed at the ladies, Jam restaurant is perfect for entertaining a hen do! They can accommodate you beautifully and even have lovely decorations and a flower wall for gorgeous selfies and group shots! There’s some great meal packages or head here for afternoon tea! You won’t be disappointed! With a stunning menu, this restaurant has every taste bud covered! Serving up more traditional plates of food, your mouth will be watering in no time!

The Liverpool Pub

Now one for the lads, The Liverpool Pub will cater to all of your pub grub and sporting needs! A locally run classic pub has all that Liverpool atmosphere that you hear so much about, this is the perfect starting point to line the stomach before the drinking sesh! The food is tasty and comes with no frills but is extremely kind to the pocket! It’s not up market but it sure is full of that Liverpool charm!

Neon Jamon

I really enjoy tapas, and Neon Jamon are the best in Liverpool for providing great small plates. The restaurant itself is cool and quirky with an industrial vibe to it. The staff are lovely and super helpful if you have any questions about the plates. They can accommodate large groups and have set menus to showcase this plus they have a killer drinks menu. What’s not to love?

Alma De Cuba

Alma de CubaAlma-de-cuba-square-hen-party is a restaurant come bar. Its one of the hottest places to eat and drink in Liverpool and turns into this amazing club night with Brazilian dancers on a Saturday night!  Anyway, I digress! The food is stunning. If you want some quality nosh, come here. You won’t be disappointed. With a touch of class, you’ll feel spoilt and looked after! You’ll be seated upstairs, over looking the bar which is impressive in itself. The whole place is a converted church, so it has that wow factor. You won’t be disappointed!

Smugglers Cove

Here at Mersey Games, we like things that break the mould a little. Things that are slightly cooler than the boring old same old same old… Enter Smugglers Cove! Sitting pretty on the Albert Docks, Smugglers Cove is a firm favourite for diners and drinkers. The food is scrumptious, and they’ve recently revamped the whole menu! The place is themed on pirates and the place has the air of a ship with low ceilings and rope decor. It’s a cool place to eat and they do stag and hen themed bits too from rum tasting to cocktail master classes, these guys have it down!
